Tournament Information:

The Southside Pre-Season Opener will be a great way to kick off your 2025 season in style. With games at both John Hassert Complex in Orland Park and Hassert Park in Lockport, this will be a great event for teams in the A/AA/AAA classifications to get an early tournament in with great competition. This event is a USSSA event and all team must be sanctioned. 

John Humphrey Complex: 

Multi Diamond Complex located right in the heart of the south suburbs. 

Hassert Park:

3 very well kept baseball diamonds in a great location in the south suburbs. Batting cages on sight. Indoor bathrooms.

This tournament will be governed by USSSA Rules and Rostering, along with JP Sports. 

You MUST Register through USSSA AND JP Sports .   By registering for this tournament you agree and understand your team must be sanctioned and have your USSSA roster completed.

Game Guarantee: 3 Games

Tournament Format: Each team will play 2 pool play games, followed by bracket play.

Expected Number of Teams: 65+

Expected Start Times: Games will start Friday evening.

8u (KP) - 40' mound, 60' bases

9u (AAA/AA/A) - 46' mound, 65' bases

10u (AAA/AA/A) - 46' mound, 65' bases

11u (AAA/AA/A) - 50' mound, 70' bases

12u (AAA/AA/A) - 50' mound, 70' bases

13u (AAA/AA/A) - 54' mound, 80' bases

14u (AAA/AA/A) - 60' mound, 90' bases

9u-10u - $600

11u-12u - $625

13u-14u - $675
