Tournament Information

The Slugger Leather & Lumber Classic tournament is here in 2024 and will be part of the "Flashin' The Leather Series" for 8-12u.  The Flashin' The Leather Series is a tournament series by JP Sports hosted exclusively at the Louisville Slugger Sports Complex (LSSC).   For the "Flashin' The Leather Series"  the tournament champions will receive a Wilson A2000 Baseball glove if the division qualifies.  For more information on the Flashin' The Leather Series click HERE.

This event is not only a USSSA State Qualifier, but a World Series qualifier as well.  We expect this event to sell out quickly, as it will have the best awards package in youth baseball.  The Slugger Leather & Lumber Classic tournament will play 2 pool play games, followed by bracket play.   Don't miss your opportunity for a USSSA qualifier!

Louisville Slugger Sports Complex: 

With a total of 12 turf diamonds:  10 full synthetic turf fields with lights outdoors and 2 full synthetic turf fields in the dome.  2 of the outdoor fields are stadium style, with the main stadium field featuring a jumbotron scrore/video board. 

This tournament will be governed by USSSA Rules and Rostering, along with JP Sports. 

You MUST Register through USSSA AND JP Sports .

Tournament Format: Each team will play 2 pool play games, followed by bracket play.

Expected Number of Teams: 80+

Expected Start Times: Games will start Friday evening at 5:00PM

8u Kid Pitch (Open/AA/A)- 40' mound, 60 foot bases

9u (Open/AA/A) - 46' mound, 65' bases

10u (Open/AA/A) - 46' mound, 65' bases

11u (Open/AA/A) - 50' mound, 70' bases

12u (Open/AA/A) - 50' mound, 70' bases

Cost:

8u Coach Pitch- $350

8u Kid Pitch, 9u, 10u, 11u, 12u = $625
